Weekly Fishing Report for LAKE CHICKAMAUGA

dayton tn fishing guide Billy Joe WheatFishing Report for Lake Chickamauga Tuesday, August 22nd. Brought to you by USCG Licensed Captain Billy Wheat owner of Rip-Rap Fishing Adventures Guide Service.

Bass: Shad are starting to school and a transition has begun. PopRs, Spooks and Buzzbaits are what you need to catch them. Don’t forget to throw the river bars with a Swimbait.

Crappie: They are moving more to the shallows so get the grub fired up and start searching. Night fishing with a light is still best, and you can beat the heat.

Bluegill: Bluffs are still good, but if you find some deep grass, you can catch some big ones on a live worm or small minnows.

Have fun!
